TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Who we are

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean DNA TECHBASE S.R.L. "You" means the person using the app.

2. The service

Doodle Stick is a drawing-based platform game. You can play alone, or join an online arena where you and other players draw lines, move characters and compete in the same room. The app is currently provided free of charge, with no advertising and no in-app purchases.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the app at any time. We will not charge you for the app without your clear prior agreement.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Doodle Stick. If you live in the European Economic Area and your country sets a higher minimum age for consent to online services (up to 16), you must meet that age, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the app without your permission, contact us at contact@dnatechbase.com and we will help.

4. Your account

You can play without creating an account. The app signs you in anonymously so your progress can be kept on your device.

You may optionally link a Google account, an Apple account or an email address so your progress survives reinstalling. If you do, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account.

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the account screen inside the app. See our Privacy Policy for what deletion covers.

5. Community rules

Online rooms are shared spaces. When you choose a display name, draw lines that other players see, or send a message, you must not:

• post content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, threatening or discriminatory;
• bully, stalk, or target another player, or encourage others to do so;
• impersonate another person, or falsely claim to represent us;
• post anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
• share personal information about yourself or anyone else;
• advertise, spam, or attempt to sell anything;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers, or to modify the game client to cheat or to bypass limits.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Content is generated by other users, not by us, and we do not endorse it.

6. Reporting and moderation

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these rules, use the report control in the app, or email contact@dnatechbase.com with the room code and, if you can, the display name involved.

We aim to review reports and act within 24 hours. We may remove content, and we may suspend or permanently ban an account, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken. You can also block another player in the app, which hides their name, messages and drawings from you.

7. Content you create

The lines you draw, the name you choose and the messages you send remain yours. By using the app you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit and display that content for the purpose of operating the game, for as long as it exists on our servers.

Most game content is short-lived: drawings and positions exist only for the life of the room. You can erase your own lines while playing.

8. Our intellectual property

The app, its code, artwork, sound and the name "Doodle Stick" belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the app except where the law expressly permits it.

If you believe something in the app infringes your rights, contact contact@dnatechbase.com with details and we will investigate promptly.

9. Third-party services

The app uses Google Firebase for sign-in and for the shared game database, and it offers sign-in with Google and with Apple. Your use of those sign-in services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the app running, but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error free. Except for the rights you have by law, the app is provided "as is".

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep all mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country where you live, including your rights in respect of digital content that is not as described.

11. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, for loss of data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, or for the conduct of other players. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Ending these Terms

You may stop using the app at any time, and you may delete your account from within the app. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we stop offering the app. Sections that by their nature should survive (including sections 8, 11 and 13) continue after termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

We would like to resolve any problem directly, so please contact us first at contact@dnatechbase.com. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

14. Additional terms for the Apple App Store

These terms apply where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, and Apple requires them:

• This agreement is between you and DNA TECHBASE S.R.L. only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• The licence granted to you is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes or the law requires. We will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
